A romantic summer wedding near Lake Garda

Last year I had the pleasure of creating wedding floral decorations in the amazing Villa Sigurtà, near Lake Garda. This outstanding historical villa, built in the XVII century, was surrounded by spectacular parkland. Historically visited by Napoleon III, King Charles, Maria Callas and many others. Interestingly, the centuries-old garden was designed in a romantic English style.

This amazing setting was the perfect location for this summer wedding.

Bea, the professional wedding planner, and I created a unique and sophisticated wedding design. The chosen palette was of soft pinks, white, green and a touch of gold. Soft flowers like hydrangea, delicate eustoma, elegant roses, light amnivisnaga and soft greens, all had elegant and light characteristics.

Each special moment of the ceremony, was held in a different corner of the park giving guests the freedom to wander around and enjoy the occasion.

The symbolic ceremony took place in the shade of a centuries-old Ginko Biloba.

A semicircle of white chairs faced the tree, where I created a gold ring arch in a soft romantic style. Elegant flower balls hung along the aisle adding a summery vibe.

For the bride I created a soft bouquet with scented garden roses paired with delicate eustoma.

After the ceremony, the “The ninfeo of Maffei” a white marble amphitheatre with its amazing swimming pool was the perfect setting for the aperitif. Amidst the fully bloomed lotus, I created intricate romantic bouquets illuminated by floating candles.

At sunset the lavish dinner was served to the guests, overlooking the stunning park. For every table I created luxurious romantic floral arrangements, in gold pedestal bowls on round mirrors with flickering candles.

The final touch was a beautiful wedding cake set amongst a copse of trees giving it a magical feeling. Small gold lanterns and hanging roses added to the effect.

All in all an amazing wedding with lots of laughter and love!
